Steering Group

Our team brings together critical urban studies with retail analytics and local economic development approaches to critically analyse the current situation of traditional retail markets (TRM), providing robust evidence base upon which to evaluate their community value and suggest best practice. Researchers from the University of Leeds and the Open University will be working in partnership with experts from NMTF and the New Economics Foundation.

Our Steering Group is made up of academics and experts in traditional retail markets or related areas, who are helping our team to connect various stakeholder groups and experts around the complex issue of the ‘community value’ of markets. Read more...
